In the message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan dated January 10, 2018, “New Opportunities for Development in the Context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution”, the seventh task “Human Capital – the Basis for Modernization” stated that “We must accelerate the creation of our own advanced education system covering citizens of all ages “. In order to achieve these objectives the NPSC “Holding Kasipkor” plans to hold a regional workshop on May 23, 2018. The topic of the workshop is “Professional training for the mining and metallurgy industry as a key to success of regional economic development”, on the base of “Ridder Agrarian Technical College”.
The regional workshop is conducted to summarize Kazakhstan’s experience in training professioanls for the mining and metallurgical industry and implementation of innovative educational technologies for VET education.
To participate in the workshop were invited, representatives of education departments, employees of departments and centers of VET education, leaders and pedagogical workers of East Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, Karaganda and Kostanay regions and representatives of the regional branch of SPE “Atameken” and the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency.
The seminar will bring together more than 200 participants.
The program of the event provides for a synthesis of advanced Kazakhstan’s experience in the implementation of innovative educational technologies in the educational process of VET organizations, as introduction of the module-competence approach to the training process in mining and metallurgy, transition to the teaching of special disciplines in English and the system of credits for professional education of ECVET, discussion of problematic issues of social partnership.
The plenary session of the workshop is planned to consider the positive experience of social partnership of enterprises and “Ridder Agrarian Technical College” in the training of specialists of working qualifications for the mining and metallurgical industry of Kazakhstan.
The second part of the workshop will include practical work in the thematic sections. The participants will have the opportunity to review the best pedagogical experience of their colleagues and discuss issues of the VET system.
